Boricua Midget

It's all in the name

v boricua: (1) a word sometimes used to denote a Puerto Rican or a person of Puerto Rican descent. It is derived from the Taino name for the island of Puerto Rico, Boriquén; (2) a bilingual, cultural publication for Puerto Ricans.
v midget: (1) An extremely small person who is otherwise normally proportioned; (2) Belonging to a type or class much smaller than what is considered standard.

This name basically started off as a sn. (daboricuamidget) An old friend of mine (Josh) always thought I was such a cute short rican girl. After that sn was made, I used it for everything. Basically, the reason I picked boricuamidget as my domain name is because it decribes me perfectly, a short Puerto Rican girl. I've used this name for like everything and it just seems to always stick to me.

HisERstory

I started web/graphic designing about three years ago. Actually, It has been a lot longer then that. I started messing with AOL and doing pages on there. I had this like "clique" page for me and a few ~~friends~~ of mine. Now that I think about it, it was one of the most ridiculously done sites ever. lol After that, I did some work on journals: ujournl (I think that's what it was called), blurty, livejournal, etc. I did that for a while. That was when I really started playing with Paintshop Pro. There was even one point when me and an old friend of mine TRIED to do a page on geocities. The only thing we achieved was the enter image. (Pathetic I know)

It wasn't until like 2002 or 2003 that I was first hosted on furious.net, my friend Morena. (Now gone) I stood there 'til about March 2004, and that's when I bought this domain. Of course I was beyond excited. This is my baby. J My 4 year anniversay on boricuamidget.com will be on April 06, 2008. I've grown with this site and my interests and likings have changed also throughout the years. As of now, I do not plan on closing my site. It's one of those things that keeps me insane and that I enjoy doing. J
